Custom Vinyl Signs

You may have heard about vinyl banners at the suggestion of a friend and want to know what kind of options are available. Instead of ordering a prefabricated vinyl sign or vinyl banner consider a custom vinyl sign. Customized signs include custom graphics and custom lettering. When we say the word custom, we are referring to creating graphics and lettering specifically for you. Most customers prefer custom vinyl signs because they are creative, artistic, and include the logos and graphics associated with your business. Our staff are happy to help you design a professional custom vinyl sign in a short turn around time.

Custom Vinyl Sign Purposes

Typically, custom vinyl signs are ordered for yard signs, real estate signs, smaller banners, parking signs, street signs, sandwich boards, plywood signs, license plates, and political signs. Often, custom vinyl signs with custom lettering and custom graphics are less than 2' x 3'. Ideally, custom graphics and custom lettering are the two components that make up the term "custom signs".

Creating Custom Vinyl Signs

Vinyl graphics and lettering can be placed almost anywhere and they are versatile to create. They also have fewer errors and are going to last longer than traditional hand-painted lettered signs. You will also hear custom vinyl signs being referred to as banners. However, keep in mind that banners typically are only vinyl and very large. Custom vinyl signs, however, can be on a number of surfaces like aluminum, large sized magnets and wood. Of course, they can also be applied to vinyl!

Often, the customer will want to make a sign out of a surface that they already own. For this reason, you can order custom vinyl lettering and decals. They can be sent to you and then you can install them yourself. The end result is still a custom vinyl sign. The only difference is that you apply the vinyl to make the sign and the materials for the sign don't come from the custom vinyl sign printer. Ready-to-Apply graphics and lettering can be applied to a variety of surfaces and is longer lasting than traditional, old-fashioned painted signs and graphics.

General Vinyl Application Instructions

Almost any person can install vinyl decals as long as they aren't too large. When installing custom vinyl signs larger than a vehicle door, it is recommended that you hire a local professional to complete the installation. Don't forget that we are here to help you and will also be sending you some general installation instructions.
